Thursday 30th May - Scrapbook Class

This weeks class is a Sketch class and it's all about YOU!

 

WE give you the sketch, YOU chose the kit - either boy or girl  and YOU create the master piece.

You will need to bring to class

• foam tape
• fast drying glue - we recommend Ranger Glossy Accents
• Blue or grey ink - boy kit - we recommend Ranger Distress Ink -Weathered Wood
• Pink ink - girl kit - we recommend Ranger Distress Ink - Picked Raspberry

Each kit needs two 6x4 photos 1 landscape and 1 portrait

Awesome class today

We had a great time making masks, playing with stencils and even made our own colour mist with Ranger Reinkers in todays class. The next Thursday class will be a birthday layout. It's bright and funky and you chose between a boy kit or a girl kit. You will need two 6x4 photos one portrait and one landscape. We'll give you the sketch and you will create a masterpiece using Simple Stories papers.

Class Thursday 16th May

Hi guys
this weeks class will be fun. Learning to make your own mask, play with pre made masks  and mists you will create this stunning layout that will accommodate a range of photo sizes.

You will need to bring
black archival ink,

Mini mister bottle, 

 

white paint dabber

Rapid dry wet glue or glossy accents

Good quality paper towel

 

 

RANGER U RECAP & CERTIFICATION

It is a bittersweet feeling that I am now officially "certified" by Ranger as an educator because I just don't want the fun to stop....I wonder if they would notice if I just turned up again tomorrow, mmmmm!
We all feel much more relaxed than on day 1 with the beginning of the morning being quite casual.

It then became such a "distressing" day as Tim took us on the distress journey exploring the inks, stains, reinkers, pens, powders & the new paints which are simply amazing to use and honestly there is nothing else like them on the market.

It is mind blowing just what effects you can achieve with these everyday craft mediums.  I have ideas oozing from my brain right now! 
I am one very pleased and proud certified Ranger Educator right now and still can't believe that one of my ultimate dreams has actually come true.

It was a blast meeting so many fantastic people from so many places around the world along with the amazing staff at Ranger.  Everyone has been so friendly and I look forward to keeping in touch with them all.  A special mention and thank you must go to both Patti and Jackie for all your help, you were both amazing.

To finish off a superb day we headed to Applebees for an enjoyable dinner to celebrate.

RANGER U - DAY 2

Today we kicked off with Claudine Hellmuth and her line of paints and mediums.

We painted, transferred and resisted all morning.

Overall a fun morning.

After lunch Tim was back as we explored Adirondack paints and inks followed by the one and only Dyan Reverely of Dylusions. 

This was a super fun and inky afternoon where you can truely let your creative flair shine.

Overall another full on but totally fun day.....looking forward for more tomorrow.
